Enjoying Creating Music Together

The Mahoney-Hewat Center is the largest project the 21st Century Fund has done and the Fund continues to take an active interest in it's growth and development. The Center is directly behind the Ag Ed wing of HVRHS and is an important regional resource. It is used by: teachers in need of a flexible classroom space, administrators hosting community events, musical students who either want to record their own music, learn how to be sound engineers or write their own songs/raps. The Center provides a safe space to build and explore difference areas without being graded or judged. The STC also hosts several summer projects from figure drawing classes to science sessions for local summer camps.

The Mahoney-Hewat Recording studio is complete and open to students!

HVRHS is grateful to the following organizations for their support and commitment to developing diverse educational opportunities for Region One students and the community.  Anyone interested in using the recording studio should contact the Mahoney-Hewat Center at nmartin@hvrhs.org.
